REVIFF End User License Agreement

Version 2026-10-27, in effect from October 27, 2026. REVIFF shows this Agreement the first time you start it and again whenever it changes. This Agreement is written in English and Japanese (the Japanese text follows the English); if the two texts differ, the English text prevails.

1. Parties and Acceptance

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and AEC DX Labs ("we", "us"). AEC DX Labs is the name under which an individual develops and publishes REVIFF. That individual's name and address are given on request (see section 22). This Agreement covers the REVIFF desktop application, its updates, the Claude Desktop extension that comes with it, and its documentation (together, the "Software").

You accept this Agreement by ticking both boxes and choosing "Accept and continue" when REVIFF shows it: the first time you start REVIFF, and again whenever this Agreement changes. Installing REVIFF does not by itself mean you accept. If you do not accept, REVIFF closes and you may not use the Software. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.

Microsoft distributes REVIFF through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft is not a party to this Agreement and is not responsible for the Software or its support.

2. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

The AEC DX Labs Terms of Service (https://account.aecdxlabs.com/terms/) govern your AEC DX Labs account, Beta features and our online services. The Privacy Policy (https://account.aecdxlabs.com/privacy/) explains how we handle personal data. When you sign in to REVIFF, you agree to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. This Agreement governs your license to the Software. If this Agreement and the Terms of Service conflict about the account, Beta features or online services, the Terms of Service prevail.

3. License

Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal or business use, including work for your organization and its clients. The Software is licensed, not sold.

4. Restrictions

Except as this Agreement or the law allows, you may not:

  1. copy, distribute, sell, rent, lend or sublicense the Software, host it for others, or offer it as a service;
  2. modify the Software or create derivative works of it;
  3. remove or change copyright, license or attribution notices;
  4. bypass or interfere with sign-in, access to Beta features, update checks or other technical controls; or
  5. use the Software for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others.

5. Reverse Engineering

You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, or try to extract its source code, except as follows. This section does not restrict:

  1. anything the law allows you to do despite a contract term, including under the Copyright Act of Japan (such as Articles 30-4 and 47-3) and, for users in the European Union, Articles 5 and 6 of Directive 2009/24/EC;
  2. using REVIFF's own automation and AI features, including its Claude Desktop extension and the tools it provides; or
  3. good-faith security research on your own copy of REVIFF on your own device, if you first report what you find privately to hello@aecdxlabs.com and give us reasonable time to fix it before you disclose it. This does not allow testing, scanning or attacking AEC DX Labs servers, services or other people's accounts.

Items b and c do not apply to Microsoft's components (section 12), which you may reverse engineer only as the law allows.

6. Your Files and Results

Your drawings, documents and other files are yours, and so are the comparisons, reports and other results you create with the Software. REVIFF compares your files on your PC. Results can be incomplete or wrong, so check them before relying on them for design, construction, legal, contractual or business decisions. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you open and the right to share the results.

7. AEC DX Labs Account and Beta Features

REVIFF's core comparison works without an account. Features marked Beta need you to activate them by signing in with an AEC DX Labs account. They keep working offline for up to 30 days after REVIFF last confirmed your account online. Beta features may change or be removed. The Terms of Service set out the details, including who may hold an account (you must be 18 or older).

8. Online Functions

REVIFF connects to the internet for these purposes:

  1. Account: when you sign in, and each time REVIFF starts while you are signed in, REVIFF registers this PC to your account (its name, Windows version, REVIFF version and a hashed ID for the PC). While you are signed in, about once a day it also checks in with the hashed PC ID, the REVIFF version and which Beta features you used on which days. You can turn off "Share which Beta features I use" in Settings > News & privacy.
  2. Update check: REVIFF checks which REVIFF versions are current and still supported.
  3. News: REVIFF shows news from AEC DX Labs. You can turn off news items in Settings > News & privacy; important service notices still show.
  4. Backups: only when you choose to, REVIFF saves settings such as color presets and report export settings to your account.
  5. Support: when you send a bug report or a question, REVIFF sends your message, the REVIFF version and, if you choose, diagnostics (REVIFF's settings, Windows and PC details, and REVIFF's logs with file names hidden).
  6. Third-party services you choose to use (section 10).

REVIFF does not upload your drawings to AEC DX Labs. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected and why.

9. Updates

We provide updates through the Microsoft Store. Updates may add, change or remove features. If a REVIFF version has a serious security or compatibility problem, REVIFF may ask you to update it through the Microsoft Store before you continue using it.

10. Third-Party Services

Some features connect to services run by other companies, and only when you set them up or use them:

  1. Google Gemini: AI summaries and sorting send the images and text of the changes you analyze, and the names of their sheets, to Google, using your own API key, under Google's terms. Depending on the Google terms that apply to your API key, Google may use that content to improve its products.
  2. Claude Desktop (Anthropic): if you choose to install REVIFF's Claude extension, REVIFF hands it to Claude Desktop to install. Claude can then read the report you share through a folder on your PC and write reviews back into REVIFF. Your use of Claude is under Anthropic's terms.
  3. Hugging Face: if you agree, REVIFF downloads a text-comparison model from huggingface.co.

We do not control these services and are not responsible for them. Make sure you are allowed to send your files' content to them, especially drawings that contain confidential or personal information.

11. AI Results

AI summaries, reviews and other AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. Check them before relying on them. You are responsible for what you ask an AI tool to do through REVIFF and for the changes it makes to your reports.

12. Third-Party Components

The Software includes open-source and other third-party components. Each is licensed under its own terms, listed in About > Third Party Notices and in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt in the REVIFF install folder. Where those terms give you rights, they apply to that component. Microsoft and the other suppliers of these components give you no warranty for them and, to the extent the law allows, are not liable to you for them. You may use Microsoft's components only as part of REVIFF.

13. Ownership

We and our licensors own the Software and all intellectual property rights in it. You receive only the rights this Agreement gives you.

14. No Warranty

We provide the Software "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including that the Software is accurate, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that it does not infringe the rights of others. Section 15 sets out our liability. Nothing in this Agreement limits rights you have under laws that cannot be changed by contract, such as the Consumer Contract Act of Japan.

15. Limitation of Liability

  1. For damage we cause you intentionally or through gross negligence, we are liable without the limits in this section.
  2. For damage caused by our slight negligence, whatever the legal basis of the claim, we are liable only for direct and ordinary damage you actually suffer, up to a total of fifty (50) US dollars. We are not liable for indirect, special or consequential damage, lost profits or lost data caused by our slight negligence.
  3. The limit in item b and the limit in the Terms of Service are one combined limit, not separate limits. These limits apply only to the extent the law allows.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Software and uninstall it at any time. If you materially breach this Agreement, we may end your license; if the breach can be fixed, only after we tell you about it and you do not fix it within a reasonable period. When your license ends, you must stop using the Software and uninstall it. Sections 6, 11, 13 to 15 and 19 to 21 continue to apply after the license ends.

17. Export Control

You must comply with the export control and sanctions laws that apply to you and the Software, including Japan's Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act.

18. Changes to This Agreement

Under Article 548-4 of the Civil Code of Japan, we may change this Agreement if the change is in users' general interest, or if it does not go against the purpose of this Agreement and is reasonable given why it is needed, whether the new terms are fair, this section and other circumstances. At least 14 days before a change takes effect, we will announce on our website, and also in REVIFF, that this Agreement will change, the new text and the date it takes effect. REVIFF then asks you to accept the new version before you continue using it.

19. Governing Law and Court

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Japan. This does not take away protection given to you by mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually live. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes about this Agreement or the Software, unless mandatory consumer law allows you to bring a claim in another court.

20. Severability

If any part of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, the rest of this Agreement stays in effect.

21. Language

This Agreement is written in English and Japanese. If the two texts differ, the English text prevails.

REVIFF エンドユーザー使用許諾契約書（バージョン: 2026-10-27）

1. 当事者と同意

本エンドユーザー使用許諾契約書（以下「本契約」）は、お客様と AEC DX Labs（以下「当方」）との間の契約です。AEC DX Labs は、REVIFF を開発・提供する個人が使用する名称です。当該個人の氏名および住所は、ご請求に応じて開示します（第22条参照）。本契約は、REVIFF デスクトップアプリケーション、その更新、付属する Claude Desktop 拡張機能、およびその文書（以下あわせて「本ソフトウェア」）に適用されます。

お客様は、REVIFF が本契約を表示したとき（初回起動時および本契約の変更時）に、両方のチェックボックスにチェックを入れて「同意して続行」を選ぶことにより、本契約に同意します。REVIFF をインストールしただけでは、同意したことにはなりません。同意しない場合、REVIFF は終了し、お客様は本ソフトウェアを使用できません。組織のために同意する場合、お客様はその権限を有することを表明します。

Microsoft は、Microsoft Store を通じて REVIFF を配布しますが、本契約の当事者ではなく、本ソフトウェアおよびそのサポートについて責任を負いません。

2. 利用規約およびプライバシーポリシー

AEC DX Labs アカウント、ベータ機能および当方のオンラインサービスには、AEC DX Labs 利用規約（https://account.aecdxlabs.com/terms/）が適用されます。個人情報の取扱いは、プライバシーポリシー（https://account.aecdxlabs.com/privacy/）で説明しています。お客様は、REVIFF でサインインする際に、利用規約に同意し、プライバシーポリシーの内容を確認したものとします。本契約は、本ソフトウェアの使用許諾について定めます。アカウント、ベータ機能またはオンラインサービスについて本契約と利用規約が矛盾する場合は、利用規約が優先します。

3. 使用許諾

当方は、本契約に従うことを条件として、お客様が所有または管理する機器に本ソフトウェアをインストールし、個人または業務の目的（お客様の組織およびその顧客のための業務を含みます）で使用する、非独占的かつ譲渡不能な権利を許諾します。本ソフトウェアは販売されるものではなく、使用許諾されるものです。

4. 禁止事項

本契約または法令で認められる場合を除き、お客様は次の行為を行ってはなりません。

  1. 本ソフトウェアを複製、配布、販売、貸与もしくはサブライセンスし、他者のためにホストし、またはサービスとして提供すること
  2. 本ソフトウェアを改変し、またはその派生物を作成すること
  3. 著作権表示、ライセンス表示または帰属表示を削除または変更すること
  4. サインイン、ベータ機能の利用、更新確認その他の技術的な制御を回避し、または妨害すること
  5. 違法な目的で、または他者の権利を侵害するために本ソフトウェアを使用すること

5. リバースエンジニアリング

お客様は、本ソフトウェアのリバースエンジニアリング、逆コンパイルもしくは逆アセンブルを行い、またはそのソースコードの抽出を試みてはなりません。ただし、本条は次の行為を制限しません。

  1. 契約にかかわらず法令が認める行為（日本の著作権法第30条の4および第47条の3などに基づく行為、ならびに欧州連合のお客様については指令2009/24/EC第5条および第6条に基づく行為を含みます）
  2. REVIFF 自身が提供する自動化および AI の機能（Claude Desktop 拡張機能とそれが提供するツールを含みます）の利用
  3. お客様の機器上にあるお客様の REVIFF に対する善意のセキュリティ調査。ただし、発見した内容をまず hello@aecdxlabs.com に非公開で報告し、公表する前に修正のための合理的な期間を当方に与える場合に限ります。AEC DX Labs のサーバー、サービスまたは他者のアカウントに対するテスト、スキャンまたは攻撃は認められません。

b号およびc号は Microsoft のコンポーネント（第12条）には適用されず、Microsoft のコンポーネントのリバースエンジニアリング等は、法令で認められる範囲でのみ行うことができます。

6. お客様のファイルと結果

お客様の図面、文書その他のファイル、および本ソフトウェアで作成した比較結果、レポートその他の結果は、お客様のものです。REVIFF は、お客様の PC 上でファイルを比較します。結果は不完全または誤っている場合があるため、設計、施工、法務、契約または業務上の判断に用いる前に必ず確認してください。お客様は、開くファイルを使用する権利および結果を共有する権利を有していることについて責任を負います。

7. AEC DX Labs アカウントとベータ機能

REVIFF の基本的な比較機能は、アカウントなしで使用できます。「ベータ」と表示された機能は、AEC DX Labs アカウントでサインインして有効化する必要があります。ベータ機能は、REVIFF が最後にオンラインでアカウントを確認してから最長30日間、オフラインでも動作します。ベータ機能は、変更または廃止されることがあります。詳細（アカウントを持てるのは18歳以上の方に限られることを含みます）は、利用規約に定めます。

8. オンライン機能

REVIFF は、次の目的でインターネットに接続します。

  1. アカウント：サインインしたとき、およびサインインした状態で REVIFF を起動するたびに、REVIFF はこの PC をお客様のアカウントに登録します（PC 名、Windows のバージョン、REVIFF のバージョン、ハッシュ化した PC の ID）。サインインしている間は、1日に1回程度、ハッシュ化した PC の ID、REVIFF のバージョン、およびどの日にどのベータ機能を使ったかも送信します。「使用したベータ機能を共有する」は、設定の「お知らせとプライバシー」でオフにできます。
  2. 更新確認：REVIFF の最新バージョンおよびサポート対象のバージョンを確認します。
  3. お知らせ：AEC DX Labs からのお知らせを表示します。お知らせは設定の「お知らせとプライバシー」でオフにできますが、重要なサービスのお知らせは引き続き表示されます。
  4. バックアップ：お客様が操作したときだけ、カラープリセットやレポートのエクスポート設定などの設定をアカウントに保存します。
  5. サポート：不具合の報告や質問を送るときに、メッセージ、REVIFF のバージョン、およびお客様が選んだ場合は診断情報（REVIFF の設定、Windows と PC の情報、ファイル名を伏せた REVIFF のログ）を送信します。
  6. お客様が利用を選んだ第三者サービス（第10条）

REVIFF がお客様の図面を AEC DX Labs にアップロードすることはありません。収集する情報とその目的は、プライバシーポリシーで説明しています。

9. 更新

当方は、Microsoft Store を通じて更新を提供します。更新により、機能が追加、変更または削除されることがあります。ある REVIFF のバージョンに重大なセキュリティ上または互換性の問題がある場合、REVIFF は、使用を続ける前に Microsoft Store で更新するよう求めることがあります。

10. 第三者サービス

一部の機能は、お客様が設定または使用したときに限り、他社が運営するサービスに接続します。

  1. Google Gemini：AI による要約と分類では、分析する変更箇所の画像とテキスト、およびそのシート名を、お客様自身の API キーを使って Google に送信します。これには Google の規約が適用されます。お客様の API キーに適用される Google の規約によっては、Google がその内容を自社製品の改善に利用することがあります。
  2. Claude Desktop（Anthropic）：お客様が REVIFF の Claude 拡張機能のインストールを選ぶと、REVIFF はそれを Claude Desktop に渡してインストールさせます。その後、Claude は、お客様が共有したレポートを PC 上のフォルダーを通じて読み、レビューを REVIFF に書き戻すことができます。Claude の利用には、Anthropic の規約が適用されます。
  3. Hugging Face：お客様が同意した場合、REVIFF はテキスト比較用のモデルを huggingface.co からダウンロードします。

当方は、これらのサービスを管理しておらず、責任を負いません。特に機密情報や個人情報を含む図面について、その内容をこれらのサービスに送信する権限があることを、お客様ご自身で確認してください。

11. AI の結果

AI による要約、レビューその他の出力は、誤っている、不完全である、または誤解を招くものである場合があります。依拠する前に確認してください。お客様は、REVIFF を通じて AI ツールに指示した内容と、それによってレポートに加えられた変更について責任を負います。

12. 第三者コンポーネント

本ソフトウェアには、オープンソースその他の第三者のコンポーネントが含まれます。各コンポーネントにはそれぞれの条件が適用され、その一覧は「アプリについて」の「サードパーティライセンス」と、REVIFF のインストールフォルダーにある THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt に記載されています。これらの条件がお客様に権利を与える場合は、その条件が当該コンポーネントに適用されます。Microsoft その他のコンポーネント提供者は、これらのコンポーネントについてお客様に何らの保証もせず、法令で認められる範囲で責任を負いません。Microsoft のコンポーネントは、REVIFF の一部としてのみ使用できます。

13. 権利の帰属

本ソフトウェアおよびそれに関するすべての知的財産権は、当方およびそのライセンサーに帰属します。お客様には、本契約で定める権利のみが付与されます。

14. 保証の否認

本ソフトウェアは、現状有姿で提供されます。法令で認められる範囲で、当方は、本ソフトウェアが正確であること、誤りがないこと、特定の目的に適合すること、または他者の権利を侵害しないことを含め、明示または黙示を問わず一切の保証をしません。当方の責任については、第15条に定めるとおりとします。本契約のいかなる規定も、消費者契約法など契約によって変更できない法令に基づくお客様の権利を制限するものではありません。

15. 責任の制限

  1. 当方の故意または重大な過失によりお客様に生じた損害については、当方は本条の制限なく賠償責任を負います。
  2. 当方の軽過失による損害については、当方は、債務不履行、不法行為その他請求の原因を問わず、お客様に現実に生じた直接かつ通常の損害に限り賠償責任を負い、その総額は50米ドルを上限とします。当方の軽過失による間接損害、特別損害、結果損害、逸失利益またはデータの損失については、当方は責任を負いません。
  3. b号の上限額と利用規約に定める上限額は合算されず、両者を通じた上限とします。これらの制限は、法令で認められる範囲でのみ適用されます。

16. 終了

お客様は、いつでも本ソフトウェアの使用をやめ、アンインストールできます。お客様が本契約に重大な違反をした場合、当方は使用許諾を終了できます。ただし、是正可能な違反については、当方が通知した後相当の期間内に是正されない場合に限ります。使用許諾が終了したときは、お客様は本ソフトウェアの使用をやめ、アンインストールしなければなりません。第6条、第11条、第13条から第15条まで、および第19条から第21条までは、使用許諾の終了後も適用されます。

17. 輸出管理

お客様は、外国為替及び外国貿易法その他お客様および本ソフトウェアに適用される輸出管理および制裁に関する法令を遵守しなければなりません。

18. 本契約の変更

当方は、民法第548条の4に基づき、変更がお客様の一般の利益に適合するとき、または変更が本契約の目的に反せず、かつ、変更の必要性、変更後の内容の相当性、本条の定めその他の変更に係る事情に照らして合理的なものであるときは、本契約を変更することがあります。当方は、効力発生日の14日前までに、本契約を変更する旨、変更後の内容および効力発生日を当方のウェブサイトで周知し、REVIFF でも表示します。その後、REVIFF は、使用を続ける前に新しいバージョンへの同意を求めます。

19. 準拠法と管轄裁判所

本契約は日本法に準拠します。ただし、お客様の常居所地法の強行規定による保護を妨げません。本契約または本ソフトウェアに関する紛争については、東京地方裁判所を第一審の専属的合意管轄裁判所とします。ただし、強行法規である消費者保護法令により、お客様が他の裁判所に訴えを提起できる場合を除きます。

20. 分離可能性

本契約の一部が無効または執行不能とされた場合でも、本契約の残りの部分は引き続き効力を有します。

21. 言語

本契約は、英語と日本語で作成されています。両者の内容に相違がある場合は、英語版が優先します。

22. お問い合わせ

本契約に関するお問い合わせ、セキュリティに関する報告、および当方の氏名・住所の開示請求は、hello@aecdxlabs.com までご連絡ください。
